I always thought "fan service" was based on the verb "service," because of all the boobs and panties involved in fan service. The anime hints at virtually servicing the fans. Then the adjective would be "fan servicy" and the cosplay award would be "fan serviciest."

Then I looked at the Wikipedia article and it talked about all time fillers, including easter eggs, cameos, and other things that don't have to do with sex. If that's the case, then it's based on "serve," the adjective is "fan servy," and Mike was correct to call Sarah's Ai and Marissa's Talho the fan serviest.

So are they fan servy or are they fan servicy?

Despite what I said on stage, I would argue it's fan servicy.
