To whom it may concern,
(wow...that sounds so cold and uncaring...let's try that again.)
Greetings fellow Anime-Punch'ers.
(much better)
For those of you who had the pleasure (or displeasure in my case) of attending the rave Saturday night I'm sure there are many who recall the guest who in all his glory... snapped his knee, dislocated the kneecap and fell to the floor screaming like a DBZ fan just before Namek exploded...after 20 some odd episodes. Yup, that was me. Harlan "Chaze" Watkins from Archaic Jump Productions.
Needless to say, I've been in touch with several of the convention and hotel staff and the prognosis is good. The brace came off this evening and while it was replaced with a slightly smaller brace, the outlook is good. I'm up and walking around off of the crutches but still with a bit of aid. Not back to 100% quite yet, but give me a month or two and we should be groovy. Just thought everyone would like a bit of an update - and if not... please feel free to look over this wonderful little post and continue forth with the con-goodness that is Anime Punch.
See you all in '08!
Harlan "Chaze" Watkins

Glad to hear you're feeling better Chaze! Now, next year, I vote we don't have a repeat XD
BTW, that analogy made me laugh so hard. Like, seriously. I needed the luls.

Good to see you're doing well Harlan.
And unless I'm reading you're post wrong, you showing up next year will be completey awesome.
Lothlin - April 6, 2007 01:06 AM (GMT)
Agreed. Can't wait to see you next year ^^. Maybe you can wow us with more scenes of jaw-dropping gamer dorkiness XD

Yay! I'm glad to know you're doing okay, everyone was worried about you! <3

+1.
It was fun hanging out with you post-con, btw. :D
AngelicRogue - April 6, 2007 01:21 AM (GMT)
Hooray! I'm happy to hear that your knee is doing better Chaze. Hopefully it won't take too long for you to be back to 100% <3 And I agree with Dave, even though I came in about halfway through, hanging out post-con was definitely nice.

Hmph, you didn't need surgery? Amateur. Leave the con injuries to the professionals. ;)

Just like the plays and musicals I was in during high school, it seems each con has its Resident Injury. ^_^;

It was already mine last year dear. Broke my ankle at the Ohayocon masquerade, required two plates, several screws, and a year of recovery.
That being said, I hope you recover much more quickly then I did.
