I believe there will be three times as many people at Fieldcon than last year. I have heard many already talking about attending, and with their parties alone bringing 5-10 people!

im just wondering, the AP fieldcon page got me confused, is there a certain age you have to be to attend fieldcon? or can a 15 year old kid like me go alone?

It's an 18+ event, but exceptions can be made

If it goes like last year, you'll have to email the conchair, who will then discuss possibilities of what may happen etc with your parental unit, who will then have to promise not to sue when you wander off a cliff at 3 AM in a thunderstorm.

Slightly off topic... A UK student always dies from falling off a cliff or getting hit by a train just before the fall semester begins.
It's like we need a human sacrifice to commence the fall term...

I'd go, but I think attending Anime Punch would be a prerequisite. Plus, I've never for real camped. I've done the camper gig in a friend's rural front yard, stayed in an RV, went to summer camp in cabins, slept in a car or bus over night in a rest area. Never really done the tent thing...
So I guess I'll miss out.

Sleep in your car during Fieldcon. Its what I did for AP cause I'm broke and its what I'll probably do if I go to Fieldcon since I don't want to hassle with a tent.

Me...well, being me, last year completely covered the inside of Amber and my tent with misquitos...

So we had to sleep in her car, but it didn't change the experience. ^^

That was funny. I completely left you in there with all the misquitos, becase they weren't biting you,but they were me. About 5 mins later I hear a crash, and it's Miccy trying to get out of the tent. lol

One thing to keep in mind. Bring a lot of bug spray, and don't leave tents open all day and night.

You will have to take it up with him, I'm just saying it's an over 18 event, and since I'm Mike's friend, and I'm turning 18, I can go.

Mike you didn't go about that right. What you should have said was "Can I drink any of this aforementioned beer?" Then depending on the answer you got you could have informed her if she could bring beer.
