Title: Dramatic/Poetry Readings...?

Explain this one to me. Are these anime-themed poetry/drama readings? Is dramatic meaning drama-script or fiction? I am not clear on this, lol.

Poetry is what it says. It's an open mic to read poetry about Anime or anime fandom. It should be noted that it's not a place to read angsty teenage-girl poems.

Dramatic readings is where you read the back of the box of animes dramatically. It's a fun little event we had at AP0

Can we bring our own anime to read, or do you guys provide it?

Can anyone do this? I would love to read a poem.

both

Ah, great :) Oh the greatness of reading an Azumanga box in a dramatic way.

aaaah, well then. I'm out. I don't do fandom-related writing, since you can't publish it and you sure as hell can't sell it.

art has nothing to do with consumerability.

it's definitely about originality, though. if it's not yours, then it's not yours, and you should make some vague attempt to be original instead of borrowing someone else's work. also, the business end is pretty important when it's how you make your living....

I did it and my topic was mirrors...

it was pretty akward for me and for the audience...
