Not for this con, though, I want to do Simca at some point. I am curious though, how would one go about making the air trecks? Because really, two wheeled skates like that have got to be hard if not impossible to find, and what con would let people skate indoors?

It's been bugging me ever since I thought about cosplaying from the series.

Real Air Treks I hear are possible, since somewhere they said that creating tiny motors is within reach. I've seen people/cosplayers with skates like those though (with just two wheels) but they were outside when using them >.>'' so I highly doubt the cons would allow them to use those indoors. You should really do Simca :D I'd love to see it!

It won't be until I get a steady job at least, because her wig will probably set me back sixty dollars. But. Eventually. Hopefully. I'll probably do her outfit from the cover of the second volume (well, maybe not the assless chaps part,) just so I can have fun painting a pair of jeans ^^.

i'm making my own boots to go in my roller blades and removed the wheels and i'm building brackets to go in the same place and be held in place by the old wheel axels that would hold scooter wheels.

if i felt i had the skating ability a guy at work said he'd build me motors, (i'd have the have a large casing inbetween the wheels) but i don't trust myself to stay standing. i can't stop as it is.

and if you really like airgear we are trying to set up a airgear/anime skatting thing at a roller rink near cincinatti.

we were going to plan if enough people were interested. (making fliers now) to rent out a roller rink somewhere in the middle slightly of where everyone was coming from. if not it was just going to be at the loveland skate castle if no one suggest any other roller rink since that's the only one we know of.

but we want to rent it out so we can control the music and only play anime music, or anime music and few others of out choices :). we are also looking into maybe setting up some back grounds for pictures and things from the series.

admission would still have to be paid to help cover the rent cost. i think it's 6 or 7 dollars. (since we don't have that kind of money) but anything over that we get would go towards the next event we are planning. we actually plan to set up many anime themed events, we are working on a anime prom and maybe a anime cake walk/baking thing.

...That's a kind of crappy Simca wig, it looks too short by at least a foot or two. Plus, looking at the base wig, the bangs are totally wrong under the hat. And I don't have the money atm.

When I do get it, I'm going to buy the Amanda wig off of cosworx and style the bangs myself, the length is good and I'll be able to get the bangs right.

As far as skates go.. I dunno. Scooter stuff would be a posibility I think. I may head over to the skate shop near school and see how much axels and wheels are and what sizes I could get. When I have money. It won't be cheap XD

the wig was just a suggestion. and i don't buy anything i don't have to. i usually just use what i find around work and my house. i have no qualms destroying my walmart skates or my cheap crappy scotter.

I, alas, haven't owned a pair of skates for like, ten years, so I doubt they'd fit me. I'll probably end up bastardizing a pair of sturdy boots and some scooter brackets/wheels, and then using paperclay or model magic or something to make it seem more skate like... and boot covers. Can't forget boot covers x.x
