Title: Video Taping Allowed?

It was mentioned in the cosplay thread,what are the rules of recording the con? Is it only the events you don't want being taped? 'Cause videos of hallway stuff and photoshoots are like...a tradition among cons T-T'
Please elaborate what is allowed?

Taking photos is always ok, with the possible exception of the concert.
Video is a little more sketchy, but we don't crack down on things unnecessarily
We ask though that if you put something publically online that you let us know about it.

All intelectual property created at the convention is owned by the convention, regardless of staff involvement. As long as it doesn't get online though, it should be ok I guess.

Kairi, you're the one not making sense. I have NO idea what you're making a big deal out of or why you are...
Anyways, though....I don't see the big deal about running thru the hallways with a cam and then putting it on youtube. Tons of people did that with Ohayocon vids.

Well, that just shows how much better AP is. Mike doesn't want anyoe who didn't come to see the sheer level of awesomeness they missed out on. That'll make them upset they didn'tcome, so next year they will.

It's not that we don't want videos put online, it's that we would like to be able to control what DOESN'T get online!
Besides, we want to know when you put stuff up so we can see it to!

I actually didn't bring my video camera. and the only thing worth taping was random battle group and the congo line lead by CloudBurg [<33333]
Anything else would just be good with pictures.
