So, I was riding home from the movie theater tonight with my boyfriend and singing along to some music on the radio. I wasn't really paying attention, my eyes have been bothering me. Next thing I know..

"SHIT"

-thump thump car jump thump-

I smacked my back hard when the car jerked and Matt sort of freaked. We pulled over at the closet parking lot and I peaked under the car. It was dark but I could see -something- hanging off the undercarriage. Matt said it had been a deer, he hadn't seen it laying across the road right away due to the car a few feet further along pulled into a ditch.

We were ok so we continued driving, and to our disgust began to smell burning flesh and blood. =.=

DO NOT HIT DEER! ....It's smelly.

~When we got home I grabbed a flash light and checked under the car. There was blood and fur all along the undercarriage. Eww.

++Edit++ I realized how dangerous accidents with deer can be. I was in a near fatal one with my mom late last fall. So dont think I'm undermining it. It scared the crap out of me. Be careful driving in deer country.

I guess Bambi didn't make it to the thicket.

I'm glad that you guys are OK, and weren't harmed. (As for the deer.. it's another story :blink:) I've heard too many horror stories about deer.

Besides, it's my brother who eats deer. I'm more of a.."I'll eat it if it's already dead and I don't know how it died" sort of person.

A deer jumped from the side of a hill onto my moms car roof once. I fliped. i thought we where in some sort of wreck cause i was sleeping, that was forever ago though.
