This got me curious. Do you have to be a room rented guest at the hotel to use the pool or can someone at the convention use it also? I mean animepunch is paying
to use the hotel so I think It would be ok, wouldn't it?

If it's like most hotel's, you will most likely need a key-card to get in. But if you know someone that is staying at the hotel, I'm sure they can get you into the pool, but that's only if it's like most hotels.

Keycard access, but I think a no ask no tell policy works best.. for everything. Just knock on the glass to get in.

but what happens if the hotel staff catches you? Will you be thrown out of the hotel or what?

No way, I heard the staff was really nice last year. They even let them make a trash ball on a luggage cart. As long as we don't shit in the pool I think they'll be ok with Mike's policy. ^_^

Mike, your idea is perfect.
In any hotel, as long as someone lets you into a pool area, and you don't cause trouble, the staff wont ask for proff you are staying with them. (Some due, but not unless you are annoying someone and they go report it.)
Plus since Anime Punch has the hotel, there shouldn't be any "outsiders" to report anyone.

But is anybody gonna swim in their contest suits other than the actually contest?
And I have some friends who are gonna act out a skit, and would anyone mind if someone brought a video camera into the pool area?

@ camera question: your own risk, make sure it doesnt get wet.
As for the hotel, remember this is a new hotel so their expressions of horseplay might be different from the last.

Not worried about the camera getting wet. Worried about camera being broken by someone not wanting to be in front of it in a bathingsuit.

Not worried about the camera getting wet. Worried about camera being broken by someone not wanting to be in front of it in a bathingsuit.

Well, I imagine since they're swimsuit cosplaying, they had enough gusto to do it, so obviously they want to be seen in such. If they were going to be camerashy, then they wouldn't have swimsuit cosplayed in the first place. Just my .002 ^_^

well it's not really for the cosplay. it's when the cosplay isn't going on for my friends and i to do our skit.
