Feb 2 we'll be having our last major planning meeting, so if you are on staff, want to be, or want your ideas heard that would be a good time to show up.

It will be held at the OSU anime club, and will start around 8pm, probably. It is likely to go well into the early hours of the following Saturday.

This meeting will cover most of the schedule, guests, policy, neat little extras, and any other planning type stuff, so if you want your ideas heard, try to be there, or let me know ahead of time.

If you're just interested in helping out at the convention, you don't have to be there (though it wouldn't hurt), just email me, and show up at the con (Thursday evening would be best, Friday morning ok, Friday afternoon if there is no other option...)

uh oh...8 pm? I really Really REALLY want to be on staff BUT if it is going to be going on throughout the night I will have no where to crash! Living in lancaster sucks becuse I am 45 minutes from osu. I have an idea that you could set up a video feed via a windows live messenger and I could be there that way. or does anyone have any other ideas?

I'm may be able to make this one though. Obviously, I can't stay for the whole thing as I'll be asleep before the meeting is over, but I'd be around for a bit.

I'm like, at least two hours away if I drive fast; Honestly, I may entreat someone to let me crash in a corner after the meeting, because I tend to space out in the wee hours of the morning and I don't really want to be driving then (plus, I'm taking people with me, and three people sleeping in a tiny sunfire is not going to be comfy XD)

If you're out of town you don't have to come.
And if you want to be on staff you don't have to come either, this is a planning meeting, and honestly most of the jobs on staff don't require planning.

I want to be on staff, only problem is our last winter guard contest is that weekend, so sadly, its in Tennessee, meaning I won't see most people for a while from that, but I want to be on Staff really bad <Mike remembers me asking about this> so I'll try if they cancel the contest, I'll attempt to come.

If you have a mall, and it's Pittsburgh, so I'm assuming you at least have shopping centres and best buys and book stores and such, it's not as boring as Portsmouth.

This stupid, depressed, DEAD steel town rejected a bloody proposal for a shopping mall, which is idiotic because, well. There's no jobs. There's no potential for jobs. It's an antique shop mecca, but damn if the only places that I can find bloody BOOKS are walmart and our local comic shop; Walmart is not known for it's selection, beyond a few select titles that are widely popular, and romance novels, and while the comic store is awesome, I either own or have read most of the books they carry.

The closest shopping mall is about forty minutes away if I drive fast, and it's pathetic when it comes to stores, AND they've got the most pathetic waldenbooks I've ever seen in my life, because it's bloody Kentucky, and I doubt anyone cares.

I don't even know where the closest best buy is. Probably Columbus.

Shit. Most of the time, I have to buy cosplay materials from Walmart if I don't want to make the LONG trek to Hobby Lobby. ;_;. There really is nothing down here. Even the theatre is pathetic.
