I read the rule and everything, so I know how it works, but what I want to know is:
Do they really test it out in a pool?
What day is the judging/award givingness?
Can you be in the Masquerade and do the swimsuit thing providing it's not the same costume?
Is it going to happen this upcoming AnimePunch?
And, are bikini's permitted?

I entered last year, so I'll try to answer as best I can with my knowledge from last year's event.
1) Yes, they definitely had us jump into the pool last year! We swam around for a little bit, and they probably would have had us do more if there hadn't been space problems!
2) I'm not sure what day the judging will be, but last year, the awards were given out at the masq along with the normal craftmanship awards.
3) Last year, you were certainly allowed and encouraged to enter both competitions!
4) I would assume so, but Mike will probably have to answer that one!
5) I recall two-pieces/bikini's from last year. I guess just keep in mind it's still a little cold in March, and don't show anything you wouldn't want a little brother or sister (or creepy fanboy!) seeing!
Yes, you will be swimming.
I currently have it scheduled for 3pm Saturday, but that is subject to change. Awards are given out with the normal cosplay awards at the end of cosplay. We'll try and make sure you know to be there if you're going to win something.
Yes, you can do both.
Of course, we want to have this every year! We are even looking at a poor oriented side event in the summer for more cosplay swimming goodness!

I hope I can enter it this year. I saw some people from last year and thought it was neat, so now I really want to do it. I just hope it stays on Saturday since I can only go to the con on Saturday.
