I'm not entirely sure what age group y'all are aiming for with this. I thought it was a College thing, but some of the posts mention younger audiences, like 13 year olds. What ESRB rating games are allowed? If Mature is a worry, are you going to let the parents at the con make the decision if their children are allowed to participate in, say, Halo 2? Or are you just going to cut it out straight?

We'll have games for all audiences including mature. I'll leave the decision of what games the kids can play up to the parents. I'm sure that if their kids into anime there are other mature things they are more worried about

I don't really think that the ratings will be a problem. I mean, the only game I can think of that might be at the convention with an M rating would be Halo 2. But I don't understand why Halo 2 should even be at the conventuion. It has absolutely nothing to do with anime, so it doesn't really fit the theme. Sure it's fun, but this game is better left to a gaming con.

Halo would be cool to have but I think you should try and find more anime based VGs. PLEASE.

Right on. Why not replace Halo with a Gungrave game? Do any of the Gungrave games have multiplayer?

we didn't actually have Halo in AP1.

If we have it in AP2 it would probably be just for a tournament. I want to stick to games that are either anime-ish, or so fun and party oriented that no one cares they arn't!

Zone of Enders 1 and 2... both are great animeish games... both have multiplayer moods... plus they are a ton of fun

I almost forgot Taiko, we gotta have those. That's such a great game. The Zone of the Enders thing is awesome too. I need to hone my Taiko skillz.

I haven't played the new gungrave not sure about how that is? might rent it or just buy it. it's only 20.

Halo is a great icebreaker, and something that sixteen players can do at once if given the opportunity. But it doesn't really fit into an anime con. One thing we should do is avoid hangups on the DDR scene. Acen always has a humongous queue, and then a tournament. We should find a way to get as many people as possible to play

two DDR rooms, eighter next door to each other, or at opposite ends of the con?

One could be running PS2 DDRs, one could be running Stepmani0rz
