Hey is anyone cosplaying kill bill characters lol

5 friends and myself are cosplaying as the Yakuza/Crazy 88's

I was actually considering being The Bride.

That's kind of hardcore.

I've done it before at some other cons. There was to be one at Otakon last year, but not alot of people showed up. Only 4 in total when alot more said they were coming. I still want to be apart of a big Crazy 88 photoshoot.If your trying to get if started, I'm in!

Plus is an easy costume to do since this con is more for Anime. Live Action is another form.

Kill Bill...Uma Thurman....not really that...but still comes to mind....

Could someone humor us and at least pretend they watch and cosplay anime?
Sorry to beat a dead horse, but this is sort of a niche convention.

Yeah, I was about to ask that, why is kil bill cosplayed so much at anime cons? Its a cool movie, but there are barely any asian people in it, let alone being animated.

Probably because Kill Bill draws a lot from asian sources (And the chapter that introduces O-Ren is in an animated style.)

It makes more sense than stuff like star wars, at least.

technically there was anime in it, but you could probably only cosplay the people in the animation sequence, like you might be able to get away with looking like a pregnant chick getting beaten to death in her wedding gown, but thats totally up to mike on that one.

That is all I have to say.

American Live action, Japanese Animation... they are just so hard to tell appart some times!
