I have a little known FPS called Deus Ex. It's a prett ysweet game with a good story and a RPG-ish level up system. I like it a lot.

Uhh, you do know that it wasn't rare in the slightest, right? Also, it was nothing like an RPG and certainly didn't have a level-up system in the way you imply.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I've got Deus Ex somewhere, it's not rare at all; PC gamer, for a while there, hand a tendency to point to it as a great shooter- with that much publicity, I'm sure people were buying it.

I think the rarest things I have are various Nippon Icchi games (Disgaea, Makai Kingdom, Magna Carta,) though I know my roomate has one of the rarer versions of Fatal Frame that I've played a bit.

DX is rather well known among people who've managed to get rid of that new car smell.

This is now a thread about Deus Ex, It's not a pissing contest over how rare it is. It's not a pissing contest over who is more skill-less. It's not about misconceptions over what constitutes an RPG.

I'll lead off with "What the fuck happened to DX2?" Seriously, how could they screw that up so bad?

DX2 does not exist. I haven't made it yet.

Never played it, but I heard it wasn't that good. I'm happy with just leaving Deus Ex as it is.

I'd also like to know what people like to prioritize for augs and ups. I go with a lot of stealth and I like rifles.

I've played the game with every viable combination, on realistic difficulty. I had the most fun doing my 0 forced-kills runs which obviously uses mostly stealth and heavy use of melee weapons.

Melee is very good to build up. I like the wrist crossbow for nonleathal, but melee works too. I went through prioritizing heavy weapons, and that was fun. I got to blow up everything in my way.

Building up heavy is really a waste since there aren't many situations where its expressly called for.

Yeah, but the Plasma cannon is fun. Pistols and rifles seem the most worth it to me. Also, computer hacking and lockpicking are really useful.
