Attention everyone who is coming to Anime Punch. This is a challenge to you to help this con become even more awesome. To levels of awesomeness only glimpsed in dreams until now.

The challenge?

Bring 4 NEW people to the con with you.

That's it. That's all you have to do. (Of course, it's always good if you volunteer, or come up with ideas for events, or hang around on the forums and be active, or otherwise make yourself useful.) Just bring 4 of your friends, family, acquaintances, heroes, enemies, random hobos, whatever. People who are already planning on coming don't count. You know all those people who are like "yeah, well, I dunno..."? We all know them. Make them show up. Those people crowded around the manga section of Barnes & Noble? Make them show up. Those people watching anime on YouTube in the computer lab at your school or library? Make them show up.

You can do it. Be a part of something huge. More huge than even Xbox. Bring 4 people with you. You have been challenged.

Is that referring to popularity or physical size?

Only if they'll be drowned in the hotel pool...

Is there a particular reason why you're requesting four?

Eh, what's wrong with those kids? Sometimes I'm one of them...

And 4 was pretty arbitrary. It seemed a reasonable number, so that's what I put. *shrug* It may have something to do with the fact that we had around a thousand attendees last year, so if everyone were to bring 4 new people with them then we'd magically jump to five thousand attendees and thereby put ourselves into a "major con" position, but that's probably not going to happen ;; Still, I think anyone who's coming can get 4 new people to commit to coming if they try, so it's not an unreasonable challenge by any means and it would really help the con out.

Those kids are only bad when they stand there, don't even buy the manga, but bend up the covers so badly that no one in their right mind would want to buy them.

...It's always the Naruto books that are bent up too, I wonder why <.<.

I on, the other hand, am the one that sees the newest volume in a series and impulse buys it without even reading a page! (...I probably shouldn't announce it.)

Anyway. I'll try to bring folks along. ^^. Do my best, all that jazz.

If everyone brought one new person, I'd be pretty happy. Saying 4 on the forums isn't bad though, since less than 10% of the people ever get on them.

I don't think I am going becuse I think I would have kamon after me with that bat he carries (the aluminum bat)! Trust me he can get pretty violent if you tick him off. Just got a black eye from him last week!

I am going to put a flyer in the comic book store and see how that goes. I mean alot of people buy the anime comics there so I might get some people to go. I have a friend of a coworker that wants to go to animepunch. Thats one person all i need is three more.

I'm bringing possibly six or seven.

I am bringing no one new. Because the only person I know who would come, her parents would have a heart attack when she told them she would be in a huge hotel with BOYS. Zomg.
