Title: already.. Bleh..

Vincent - November 23, 2006 07:05 AM (GMT)
There are already no rooms availible for the date of the con. Wow. xD Guess I'll be staying at a different hotel again this year.

rpb3000 - November 23, 2006 07:18 AM (GMT)
wha srsly?

Well, there're 5 other hotels in the immediate vicinity, so finding a place shouldn't pose an issue happy.gif;; But are you sure we're sold out already? That's just, hard to believe is all.

Vincent - November 23, 2006 09:06 AM (GMT)
Oh, wait. You're right. I see what I was doing wrong. xD Nevermind. My bad. All my fault. Yeah, but I'll probably be at another hotel anyway.. 258(99+99+30+30) bucks is a bit out of my budget. And thats if I don't plan to spend anything at the con.

Just a reminder, buying rooms at the hotel the con is at helps us a lot, as we are contractually obligated to fill a certain number of rooms (in this case: ALL), and we get charged a lot of money if we fail to do so.

Think of the children!

I am a children! So yeah, there's no way I can afford that, whether it's helping or not. I told the one taking me the price of the hotel rooms and she just laughed in my face and said no. xD

Vincent can stay with me if you need too ;D

kalajessta - November 23, 2006 09:32 PM (GMT)
I'm actually moving into the area this coming Feb/March, so for once, I don't think I will need to get a hotel room.

Kaisermikeb - November 23, 2006 11:30 PM (GMT)
99 a night is not bad...

Even if you're in the area, you should still get a hotel room. I got hotel rooms for Ohayocon and Matsuricon.

Remember, if the con goes bankrupt we all loose.

It depends if I have money or not. That's the issue. Rent comes first before cons.

And 99 a night isn't bad at all, I've paid over 200 a night for rooms. Otakon rooms go for over 500 easily... depending which hotel.

And now we know why I don't go to Otakon.

Are they all filled up already?!?!?!, I'm still convincing my mom to let me go. 1st it started out with just me and then my friend wanted to go, so her older sister wanted to go biggrin.gif . How many people can fit in a room?
And if your buying a room for the anime convention in March/April, online don't you have to use a special code or something?

Kaisermikeb - November 24, 2006 02:48 PM (GMT)
To my knowledge the hotel is not full yet.
How many people can fit into a room? That's a bit subjective. The hotel has regulations on such things, but sometimes they are overlooked by attendees.

Yeah, there would be a special code for the online thing... which I totally forgot. I would go ahead and call for now, which is safer and more reliable anyhow.

rikku7504 - November 25, 2006 04:50 PM (GMT)
O right...............good thing I know the code! The only thing though is I have to get some money first. dry.gif

Kaisermikeb - November 25, 2006 05:49 PM (GMT)
What is the code? Is it just animepunch?

rikku7504 - November 25, 2006 11:05 PM (GMT)
no, just e-mail them asking the code and they probally will just give you the code.
