ok, i generally made this so that i might finally be able to figure out how to beat Orochimaru with Naruto in the story mode. but if anyone has any awesome things that could only be seen as an accident once or tips for others, then feel free to post those as well^^



Things that DONT work angainst Orochimaru:
-killing him
-not taking damage
-killing him in under 10 seconds (brothers idea)
-killing with Rasengan
-killing with Naruto Renden
-using both special attacks (doesnt die from only those)
-cant go Kyuubi, so thats out
-killing him with 2 seconds left
-getting chakra sealed and killing him anyways
-killing with Sexy no Jutsu
-killing with kunai (knives)

aside from those up there, any ideas?

Go "Soul Calibur" On him and mash buttons.

Its simply impossible Orichimaru just has too many mighty freaky snake semi-erotic powers

it's not that i cant beat him, its that i cant figure out what to do to fulfill the missions requirement.
for example: Tsunade v Naruto, you have to beat Naruto with the Flick attack (forward A).
or Rock Lee v Gaara, beat Gaara with full Lotus (i think thats it, but that never fails the mission so ...)
Neji training with Ten-Ten, just Kaiten 10-12 rounds of shuriken.

you get it (i hope), so what do i need to do to beat the Naruto v Orochimaru?

Is there a Summon move?

the game needs a stage that is all if not partly on water, where it slowly takes only a bit of chakra at a time to stay a float, and if you run out, you fall inand can move slower or swim...or something

maybe at The Valley of the End or where they fought Zabuza for the first time

the ability to go FULL Kyuubi (with the ears and tail(s)) and second stage Cursed Seal


stuff i've already worked out in my head:
Choji:
can eat all 3 pills (one at a time) with down X
green=1/4 full health, or until you're still alive if you're in crit already/adds kunai belts to rolling attack
yellow=1/3 more/gets rid of roll and adds assorted partial enlargments (ex: >A=big punch or something)
and red=puts you where full gates does eventually/constantly refills Chakra and gives you butterfly wings/special attack rivaling that of Lotus (pretty much the full gate effect)

and all of the pills take away health AFTER the effect wears off and immobilizes you shortly (each has different run times)

Dude, I am psyched about Gaara and Kankakuro or what-ever his names is new moves! And Temari too, she's got a fucking one eyed ghost ferret summon!!!

Lee will of course have awesome drinking skills, which would be cool if they did it status effect style like the lotus breaks. Think about that, the mad combinations! Up X to drink, Down X to break the lotus, combine the two!!! I know it's hard to hold the stick both up and down at the same time, but any true gamer can!

And Naruto will have the new "go into a long flashback about his youth" special, where he will stare off into space and leave himself open for attack.... and yet still not be as lame as Iruka!!

Orochimaru's seal should totally not wear off again, like it did in 2 but not 3.

And I want to play Shizune... NO... let me rephrase: I want Shizune

It has one.

The Great Bridge where the group fights Zabuza and Haku. And if you get knocked down hard enough, you just go right into the water. A fun stage, if you ask me.

Well actually, it depends what difficulty you're playing on.

Genin: Lead with a 2 hit combo ( B+B ), then use your Rasengan.
Chunnin: Lead with a 4 hit combo ( B+A+A+B ), then use your Rasengan.
Jounin: Lead with a 6 hit combo (uh......... B+A+A+B+B+B ?, or any other 6 hit combo you can think of), then use your Rasengan.

Can you get the game here in the states yet?

Since it's game cube you just need a cheapo-free loader to play it, and some stores like Game Junkie (on I-75 a little north of the interchange) have it.
