why do they always have to waste such classics programmes by turning them into Holywood films..
the characters look like some sort of dead wh***s..

hollywood dosent always butcher stuff. but they do most of the time. and also with the flying thing. whats the storey behind monkey's clowd. cause goku from Dragon Ballz has one at the start.

DBZ is really stupid. i watched one episode, and the whole episode consisted of a man, with the look and sound of someone constipited, standing there for half an hour going 'HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA'

The movie "The Monkey King" is also known as "The Lost Empire"

What I hated most about it, was the aragance of the americans that they could completely remove Tripitaka, replace him with an american, base the WHOLE thing around him, and have Quan Yin fall in love with him and ultimately give up her goddess status :rolleyes:

I was torn between being glad to see some new take on the monkey legend, and disguisted by what they'd done to it, and what a wasted oppertunity it was.
