The whole series of Monkey (all 52 episodes) will be shown in the correct order on ITV4, starting Friday 10 February 2006, in its original 6pm timeslot that it had when first shown in the UK back in the 1970s!!!

ITV4 is available on Freeview, NTL and Sky.

This includes the 13 newly-dubbed unseen episodes that until a few years ago were never seen outside Japan!

hello to all.

I've been reading this site for a while but never thought to register and now I have.

:D . I've been waiting for so long for monkey to return to tv in the UK and remember watching it as a kid (I must have been about 8/9 back then, I'm now 36). I know this probably sounds really silly but I always rememeber after watching each episode going out to play, getting my mums best sweeping brush, taking the brush part off and running about the garden pretending to be monkey (now I feel really embarrased :lol: ) but I wonder how many other kids way back then did the same thing? :lol: including pretending they had a cloud to jump on.

I'm really looking forward to watching it again and will probably video tape it so I can watch it over and over again, lol

Just to let every one know that not only is it on on a friday it's on on a thursday too.
Hopefully a repeat of fridays episode as my dvd recorder decided to do a system check 5 mins into the recording, grrrrrr!!!. So I ended up not getting the start and didn't press the unpause button after 3rd set of adverts, :o

Watching it brought back a lot of memories :D
