I dislike them all. I was going to say 'hate', but hate's a strong word.
It's not just their music, but their images or desire for one that bothers me.

Maybe she has an emo living inside her. You know, in a symbiotic relasionship. She gives it food and shelter while the emo...inspires her poetry?
Funky_monkey - February 12, 2007 06:13 AM (GMT)

My thinking was inspired by Spider-Man.
As for MacDonalds, they target kids, which is a little unfair.

There was a 18th-century philosophist/economist named Adam Smith, who came up with the idea that an individual pursuing his own good tends also to promote work with the best interests of the community. In a way, I think he's right. But even though MacDonalds gives all sorts of benefits to the economy still doesn't make what they do right...
Sorry, my inner Business Student talking there. :P
And on a side note, Adam Smith is soon to appear on the new $20 notes, and they'll be phasing out the ones with Sir Edward Elgar, a Romantic Composer. There was a terrible argument on the radio yesterday too, about who gives more to society- composors or economists. All very interesting to me, but probably dreadfully boring for others!
