hey does any1 out there do karate? i myself do shotokan, going to aust nationals next month. any1 a ninja?

i remember once, in the time before monky, when primal chaos ruled, i went to one karate lesson at my old school. well, i soon found it wasnt really for me, so i stopped! and thats my story.

i did karate and was about to go to yellow belt but then i realised that karate wa sthe crappiest martial art there is, so i quit and now im a karate dud.

I almost joind a class that taught how to sword fight.. i forgot the name of it it was like jin something i think.. the guy (who is realy cute might I add) said that I could step in and watch his private class one day when i was watching through the windows one day.. It was awesome. but I didnt have the cash to take the class so I couldnt take it..

I had this urge to learn since i was very young but my mother refused.. my father was ok with it but we never had enuff money to go through with it anyway ,.... so it was never done....

and alas i still have the same problem ^_^''

Bit harsh bagging out a style just because you didn't have the patiance or dedication to stick with. I do Muay Thai myself, love it! I love sword fighting to Jenz. Looks soo cool, I recently watched 'Aragami'. Awesome movie and has some really great fight scenes in it, not too over the top either,

I hated Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon ###### where they fly and jump, looking so stable cause of the wires n sh$t. I loved House of the Flying Daggers, that was great, I guess Crouching T was just done in such a way that the actors looked stupid flying around all over the place. I think it's moreso that the leaps in Crouching T, they jumped and fell at the same speed which made it look stupid, the falling speed should be faster than the jumping speed, I dunnno, it just looked cr@p.

It's good to train in a Martial Art, teaches you many great and practical skills that many people lack these days, also teaches you respect, it's always obvious who trains and who doesn't, people who train tend to have more respect for others, it's funny that those who are the least capable of defending themselves are so often the ones who intiate and welcome conflict. Simply put, Funky Monkey, you should be more respectful to those who can kick the sh$t out of you ;)

dont get me wrong i have plenty of respect for people. im not one of thos twats who goes out looking for fights thats just stupid. i tolerate a lot of sh!t from jocks, freaking johny bell.

so in conclusion i was not picking a fight (over the internet! <_< ) only expressing my opinion. which is what forums are for!!!!!!!! ...n00b... :P
