Hey all!

i dont know about you guys, but music is a large part of my life, and i really love discussing and analysing it with other people! so to quench my musical thirst, i thought id start up a post dedicated to music!

myself, im a big Pink Floyd fan. i also enjoy other bands such as the flaming lips, the beatles, red hot chili peppers and the list goes on!

i just watched the live 8 DVD and pink floyd live are sooooo goooooddd...

as for local bands, (and im sure funky will agree with me here) in brisbane the standout band is the red paintings! amazing music, amazing stage shows, amazing EVERYTHING!

so what type of music do monkey fans enjoy listening to? (apart from Godiego!)

i love my music! one band that i love that samas hates is Rage Against The Machine. but thats becaus ehe has an awful steryotyped idea of them. Timmy O is a legend!

and if you are evr in the east of australia make it your mission to see a Red Paintings gig. you will NEVER for get it.

i like so many other bands! get posting guys!... and girls.. i guess :P

to stay on topic i really enjoy the band that try to bring the 70's back in modern rock such as wolfmother and also bands like (and i know funky will just insult them but) the kasier chiefs and a bit of metal with grinspoon

well after doing deeper research it would seem that timmy O toward the end of RATM was quite the douche.

As for sunny, you should MOST DEFINETLY see TRP (the red paintings) when they come to perth. a show you will never forget! (plus the tickets are usually REALLY cheep)

but have a very wide selection

I also Like Rock like Skillit, Seven Dust, Paparoach,...

As far as classic Rock goes I like Journey, and the Scorpions and Deap Purple off top my head.

I also Listion to alot or Korean, Chinese and Japanese pop/rock/alternative music.
Like K-One, H.O.T, Shinwha, Baby Vox, Se7en, Orange Range, Ayumi Hamasaki, ect...

Though its pritty much worked its way out of my system I like SOME latin pop/dance music aswell ..

I think I covered it all heheh.. :lol: :P

i like the end credits song to ghost in the shell (tv series) and the beggining song to samurai champloo... :)

I tried watching ghost in the shell once.. it was extreamly boring to me..

I have heard of Samurai Champloo... I have never watched it tho..

The music to Fishugii Yugii is good. Especially the beginning song. Also Galaxy Frauline Yuna. The beginning music to Bubble Gum Crisis Tokyo 2040 is awesome

did you watch the tv show or the movie, becaus e sometimes the series has a really crappyt episode or two. they are more... philosophical?
