Description: Oh, dear.

Pellew - May 31, 2005 02:12 PM (GMT)
the Admiral was a rather firm soul, but even he was nervous about this next interview. Morgan Adams might slit his throat in a heartbeat but...

"Lord Blakeney, sir," his steward announced, and the Admiral forced himself to remain impassive as the blonde, angelic young man came in.

"Well...you've served for us awhile...but we've not gotten to talk yet, I believe. pray sit." he leaned back and inspected the midshipman, and, after a moment, he began.

1. Your father was in the service, I believe? What inspired you to follow your father's footsteps?

2. How do you feel that your loss of your right arm has affected life? Don't look at me like that, it's not a stupid question.

3. What is your happiest memory?

4. What would you do about the serious lack of discipline that seems to have infected your ship of late?

5. Where do you see yourself in ten years?

I was never inspired.
He was involved with Aubrey in a rather scandalous relationship when I was still a toddler. I believe that is what Aubrey meant when he said my father "knew the lash". My father never did anything wrong - never lied, never stepped out of line, never did anything remotly bad; except for his relationship with Aubrey.
*sneers* Father waited till I was 11 and then shipped me off to the Navy to serve on this ship. Mother would have wanted to keep me at home for the rest of my life feeding me cakes and tea, but Father, being the stone cold sot he was, decided against it.
Actually, I'm not supposed to be a mid. A child my age needs 3 years sea experience to be rated a midshipman, but both my father and I are rather gifted at the art of manipulation....

The boy grinned. An evil grin....

"It is the best thing that ever happened to my career." He smiled even wider. "I can get away with -anything-." He stressed the last word with a sneer.

Raises his eyebrow "I would like to know why you have so much hate towards Leah."

Victoria Hastings - July 5, 2005 01:56 PM (GMT)
Victoria frowns. "Why do you persist in these pranks?" she asks him.

The boy leaned back in his chair. "Guard! This person is bothering me. Please remove him from my sight and ensure that he does happen in here again. " The guards, hesitant at first, have heard too many stories about this boy and dutifully obey him, dragging Williamson outside and throwing him out into the street...
