These are little things that could help if you are going for the two new categories on the scoreboard for Sumo: fastest time, and most foods consumed.

Fastest time:
You can beat the Komusubi at 133kg, the Ozeki at 205kg and the Yokozuna at 296kg.

Most foods consumed:
1. Fruit baskets! Worth 50 each!
2. Get big fast, then dash around.

I'll try for some good scores tonight. :smirk

I hope I don't waste to much time practicing on Cow bear tonight. :(

I improved on my best in number foods eaten in Sumo - I just found out that the woman feeding the hippo throws two fruit baskets!
2 there + 6 on train tracks + about 8 near your opponent = quite a lot of foods eaten
(there are probably fruit baskets I have not found too)

damn, you're good!

I'm slowly catching up to the number of foods as well as size...slowly...

Wow, over 1400 is really good, Vix! That's the best I had ever done until a couple days ago. Are you picking up all the fruit baskets, including the ones the animal trainer throws to the hippo?

As for Sumo (and Campfire) fastest time -- I am hoping to see times people submit pretty soon. I think those stages are really good for speed-running! My 43 seconds in Sumo Small is probably fairly good, but I bet that if the same people that got 32 seconds in ALAP1 had been working on Sumo as long as they worked on stage 1, my 43-second time would be blown way out of the water!!! I'd like to see what times other people can achieve.

Thanks...I'm still trying to catch you in sumo! I get all the fruit baskets as far as I can tell...how many does hippo lady throw?

as for the speed runs, I doubt I'll even come close to submitting any times for that, lol, i suck at speed.

As far as I know she only throws two. You'll catch me :)

I am tempted to ask you to take my Sumo and Campfire times off the scoreboard for a while, so people don't think they have to put up a really fast time to compete. My times are beatable, but it is true they took tons of practice for me. So should they be taken down for a while, would that maybe lead to more people submitting their times?

Maybe, if you want me to take them down, I will.

I'm getting closer in each level, I just need to get my technique down a little better.

I've noticed though, since the items are random for some sections of the level, certain layouts are better than others.
