After a week of delays with no real reason give as to why other than a few offhanded comments by mods over at the support forum, conversions are finally scheduled to begin tonite.

Though just because they are starting at 8:30 doesn't necessarily mean the board will convert exactly at that time. It could happen at any point after that.

Hopefully it won't take too long though. I have everything ready for the transition on my end so hopefully it all goes smoothly on their end.

I'll be posting a new features list and what not once we get converted and I get the skin transferred over as well as the images.

Don't forget though, we're gonna lose the arcade until the arcade creator comes back from being MIA and can fix it to work for zeta (which isn't a big deal since no one really uses at the moment anyways, we won't lose scores and what not though).

I hope all of you are ready for this, it's gonna be a big change. :)

I waited up as long as I could before I got too tired in hopes that the conversion would take place. Watch it take place as soon I go to bed. Anywho, if it happens before I get on tomorrow, don't be too alarmed, I'll have things back to normal when I get up. :)

but it's just the zetaboards conversion that we've been talking about for ages. vix has everything pretty much squared away, but some stuff doesn't transfer over without manually doing it so until she signs on it will be a probably somewhat of a mess.

as for the changes to the function of the board? i guess that's what you mean... some stuff will be different, but nothing too drastic if i recall... best feature? integrated spoiler tags,!

Edit: well there's no real news to report at the moment other than it still could be another day or so they say but hopefully not too much longer. I'm eager to get this over and done with.

server 1 is done.

a lot of people are saying they got converted but it seems to be slow going this time as i think more opted in since a lot of fixes are in this conversion.

our server went from 8% last night around 11pm to 15% now. must be a high volume server. :)

They will, sort of.

The board won't load when it comes time for it to convert. I'm guessing it's in a query of some sort.

Supposedly when it's converting, you'll get either nothing or a white screen with a conversion message on it.

During that process they say not to constantly refresh the page as the convertor doesn't like that. But I would think our board shouldn't take too long to convert. It's not too large.

Edit: There's been no concrete updates since this afternoon so perhaps I'll wake up tomorrow to a converted board. :)

Edit again: Finally an update, apparently there were issues with server 6(not us) and the data center needed to replace some stuff but did the wrong thing completely wiping out server 6's hard drives, holy crap! Man, i feel bad for anyone with a board on server 6.

So i'm guessing it could be another few days but hey, as long as they do it right, i'm happy.
