vix - October 8, 2008 06:24 PM (GMT)

s0njas0n - October 8, 2008 06:38 PM (GMT)
i don't really like ice cream, lol. i do enjoy milkshakes on occasion and every once in a while i'll have a sundae, but it needs to have a brownie :P
vix - October 8, 2008 07:38 PM (GMT)
i'm the type of person that goes to an ice cream shop and they have 50 flavors and i get vanilla. :lol
but man, party cake. :love
waxc3 - October 8, 2008 08:27 PM (GMT)
black raspberry is good. maybe some ben and jerry cookie dough? not too bad...
matthew69 - October 8, 2008 09:07 PM (GMT)
My favorites, in order:
Ben & Jerry's White Russian (no longer available) :crybaby
Breyer's Cherry Vanilla
Haagen Dazs Rum Raisin
Breyer's Vanilla Bean
. . . The slow-churned ice cream is pretty good too -- and half the fat :applause

I really like strawberry, but no one else in my family even remotely likes strawberry, so we never buy it.
But my absolute ultimate favorite is Superman ice cream. Tofts has a version of it, but it's entirely vanilla flavored. The real stuff is hard to find. The closest place near where I live that sells it is in Cleveland, Ohio. That is about an hour and a half drive. If I remember right, it's made in Michigan and they only sell it in those huge tubs for ice cream parlors.

Party Cake looks amazing... I haven't had a cone in a long time, I normally get ice-creams on sticks. Memphis Meltdowns and all that. Mmm.
vix - October 8, 2008 11:36 PM (GMT)
ooo, it's so yummy. it's got icing and dough mixed in and the ice itself tastes like party cake, duh, lol.
discostu - October 9, 2008 04:18 AM (GMT)

you would like the Superman ice cream maybe?
s0njas0n - October 9, 2008 11:24 AM (GMT)
i would try it... i love superman :P i don't dislike ice cream, i just don't crave it. and if people go out for it i get the smallest thing.
fleacollar - October 9, 2008 04:31 PM (GMT)
Never heard of Turkey Hill either.
Superman isn't available nationwide. It's three flavors, one for each of the three colors: yellow is lemon, blue is bluemoon, and red is cherry. (I think red is cherry...)
Anyways, it's awesome, but hard to find.
Here's a pretty picture I found:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/survival_princess/2544066102/I've had yellow cake flavored ice cream, and it's really good. But the one I had had chocolate in it, and the chocolate wasn't very good. Oh well.
matthew69 - October 9, 2008 04:32 PM (GMT)
Never heard of Superman ice cream. It looks like Play-doh.
Anyone heard of Blue Bell? They're from Texas and used to be available only here. I think they're outside Texas now, though. But even when Blue Bell was only available here in Texas, their motto was "The best ice cream in the country." :shrug
s0njas0n - October 9, 2008 04:44 PM (GMT)
haha, yeah, it does look like play-doh. i dont' think i would like it, not a big fan of lemon.
i've heard of blue bell and turkey hill.
vix - October 9, 2008 05:01 PM (GMT)
i would definitely try the superman ice cream. looks interesting.
i used ot love milky way ice cream but then they changed how they made it and it got yucky.
ThumbsOfSteel - October 10, 2008 01:05 AM (GMT)
Of course I've heard of Blue Bell! It's the best! I pretty much eat vanilla, but I don't eat very much of it these days.
I used to live in Texas, but now I'm just a disembodied spirit living on the internet. Maybe one day I'll find my body, and perhaps then I'll move back to Texas. But I don't need to go there for the Blue Bell. They even have it here! :beyond
FoominFan - October 10, 2008 02:34 AM (GMT)
My favorites are Cookies N' Cream, Chocolate Mint, Double Fudge Brownie, and Junior Mint. Also, something like Chocolate Moosse Swirl Chunk... I forgot. :lol
discostu - October 10, 2008 02:58 AM (GMT)
i love an icce cream float in the summer
fleacollar - October 10, 2008 05:07 PM (GMT)
Ice cream floats are awesome, but it's really only good with root beer if you ask me.
vix - October 10, 2008 05:39 PM (GMT)
banana sundae's are pretty awesome too. banana syrup, yum.
s0njas0n - October 10, 2008 05:50 PM (GMT)
i like bananas and that's where i draw the line. banana flavored things are ew.
vix - October 10, 2008 06:17 PM (GMT)
the banana syrup is probably the only banana flavored thing i like (unless you count the banana's in runts).

OHHHHHHHHHH i love those!!!!!
s0njas0n - October 10, 2008 06:49 PM (GMT)
haha, i ALWAYS gave those away. yuck. i don't even like bananas in my smoothies because they're so overpowering.
vix - October 10, 2008 07:37 PM (GMT)
do you like banana flavored banana's? :lol
oh yeah, so are they sprinkles or jimmies?
we call em sprinkles here. love the rainbow ones on my ice cream.
s0njas0n - October 10, 2008 07:46 PM (GMT)
i like bananas by themselves... and on peanut butter sandwiches on occasion, lol... my parents did that a lot.
and we call them sprinkles, but i enjoy calling them jimmies. also some places call them jimmies and other places call them sprinkles, depends on the store. i've had this conversation with my co-workers surprisingly :lol i bring up the weirdest topics.
vix - October 10, 2008 10:44 PM (GMT)
like teaching people what win and fail means....:lol :lol
s0njas0n - October 11, 2008 12:01 AM (GMT)
unfortunately, that was terrible... she looked it up online, lol.
i don't really like chocolate syrup either, unless it's to make chocolate milk. i do like when they put fudge in the ice cream, though... mixed in, not on top. and i don't like whipped topping on my ice cream (especially bruster's) because they usually put too much and by the time i get to the ice cream i don't want it.
i'm picky :P
