Title: Desperate in Shimano House
Maokun - October 4, 2008 07:27 PM (GMT)
Hi there, I recently started playing this adictive game and I have been recently playing the eternal turtle stage (shimano house). I think I've got every possible small item until making my katamari 28.9 cms, but I cannot make it any bigger! There are some objects that look like being able to stick if only for few mms more (like the small teddy bears on the girl's cupboard or the alarm clock over little kid's desk) and from those follow onto the bigger objects.
Has someone got a bigger katamari in this stage? What could I be missing?

28cm1mm is the current highest on our scoreboard so i'm guessing it might not go much higher but that also isn't in eternal i believe so your score might end up being the max score. it seems levels sorta kinda have caps on them. only one level in WLK we discovered to have a cap on it despite how many items you roll up, etc.

Darn. And I just checked my collection, and a teddy bear I got somewhere else that looks like the one in the girl's room says size to roll is 34 cms, so not as close as I figured.
Do you have an eternal scoreboard? I guess it would be fun too to compare the biggest possible katamaris for each level :D

I believe it was once suggested but unfortunately not many picked up the psp version so the gang struck down the idea. I'm always willing to do it if people will actively post on it.

Hmmm nevermind, I just checked the collection by location and it says I have 100% of the items in that room, should have thought of that before :frusty
Another question, though: Does someone know if you can get the Airport and the huge cargo ship in Raddish land? I got my katamari to 122 m and they didnt roll and there wasnt anything left to roll that I know.
Anyway, if you make a scoreboard for maximum eternal sizes, I'll be glad to post my scores :D

There's not an item list by size in the database, but there's one by category and another by location. If you know the exact name (or very close) of the item, you can search those with "find on this page..." in your browser's edit menu. :)
Searching for "airport" found this: Airport Terminal - 125m30cm0mm
And searching for "cargo ship" found this: Cargo Ship - 131m62cm0mm
So you can't roll up either at 122m. Maybe someone more familiar with MMK knows for sure if you can get those items in Radish Land.
Use the method I described above to find out if items can be rolled up in certain levels. :thumbsup

perhaps after our upgrade to the newer forum software(which will be really soon), i'll add in the eternal scoreboard if people return and are active.

Thanks a lot, that was really helpful, those seem to be the items Im missing. Probably Im missing some areas with small items when I start rolling my katamari that I cannot get to when its bigger and thats why Im only getting 122ms. Thanks again!
And I loom forward to the eternal scoreboard! Right now Im doing my best to get competitive scores :D

Feel free to submit them, they just won't be added into the active board at the moment. :)

OK :thumbsup what's the proper place to submit them?

there is a submit thread in the MMK hall of fame. the instructions are easy to follow as to how to submit them but if you have any q's, feel free to ask away. :)
