Title: 2 Items Left
Description: Konishi Residence and 'Star'
triumphofhearts - August 25, 2008 07:42 PM (GMT)
I realise that for the star I'm just going to have to spend hours up in space, but where on earth is this house? I've rolled every house I can find on the first island(s) with no luck. Even a pointer as to what colour the roof is might help.
Thanks in advance, the help on this site is second to none!
EDIT - just found the info about the house. Ignore me!

From the database:
Houses
2-3-2
Konishi Residence - Seadome, up against the "school" by the school yard (at the bottom of the hill with the campers) near the japanese town. blue roof.
As for the star, is it just star?

i'm pretty sure it has a blue roof.
and do you have the dlc? because the stars are in the levels where you go into the cosmos... schloss kosmos, chateau notre desir, and dangerous colony.

Got the house thanks to the database page (which I thought I'd checked prior to posting!) so it's just the star now. It's a non DLC item - I've driven around the cosmos on both Schoss and Chateau with no joy, both times until there was literally nothing left to pick up. Do the stars dissapear when you get too large? I assumed they wouldn't as I was still collecting them sporadically even at 1.5M km.
It's under Cosmos 1-3-3 in the collection. Maybe just a hint as to it's colour would help. Infuriating to be stuck on such a vague item..

honestly something being in the cosmos like that i can't give you directions, you just have to keep rolling. try not to pick up any planets and just concentrate on stars.
the question was do you have the dlc, not was it a dlc item. the collection shifts when you have dlc. if you don't have dlc it should be a pink star, if you do it's orange.
triumphofhearts - August 26, 2008 09:09 AM (GMT)
I have the DLC so I guess I'm looking for an orange star. Thanks for the help, I'll have another session this evening to see if I can find it.
triumphofhearts - August 26, 2008 11:51 AM (GMT)
Another two scans of the cosmos, and no orange stars (other than the various iterations of Venus). I collected every star I could find before being forced to move on to planets and no joy. Then I just cruised round the sky till I wasn't getting any bigger. I've tried on both Schloss Cosmos and Chateau Notre Desire. This is really quite unbelievable - made more so by the fact that I played Schloss to it's conclusion about 25 times in attempting the Astronomic Katamari achievement. Is Dangerous Colony the only other level in which you can get up there? I'd need to 100 point it, yeah?
Thanks for your help anyway, I guess I'll try again soon.

in dangerous colony you pick up stars but you continue to roll on the surface of the planet. i'm not sure if the star is in dangerous colony, but there's always that possibility. and i'm pretty sure it takes a lot less time to get to the "cosmos" part of that level than sk or cnd. it's weird you haven't gotten it yet, but it's kinda hard to give locations of stars in the cosmos since it's so open.

there is definitely an orange star in dangerous colony. so if you can get eternal in that and roll around, you'll have your missing star. i'm rolling around in it now and i can see it flying by. i can get you a pic of the star if you want so you know what to look for. :)

I'll try and follow Zoop's guide on youtube tommorow to help with the 100 points and then hopefully find it. If I don't have any luck I'll let you know, but hopefully this will be it. Thanks for your patience with such a silly request guys!

oh, no worries. you might even be able to get it without getting 100. if you can get large enough to at least clear the level then you should be able to get the star, i would think. at least 6000km i think.
it's this one:
