Title: Need Some Suggestions

I definitely need to make new forum markers for zeta. I put these in there and they didn't look right.
We have a few options.
I can remake the ones we have now to work...
or...
I can make new ones but I'm stumped as to what to make (hence the suggestion part, :P)....
or...
You guys can make some too. :P

(having not made webpages in many many years i dont know) why do you have to remake them? can you use the same images/ coding for the new site?
i personally vote to keep Dipp head! :)

They're too small to look right in the new forum format so I would have to remake them larger. I can't just resize them up cause then they will lose quality. Plus for some strange reason the background color of them doesn't match the coor of the part of the forum they are place in so I need to change that part too.
It's not a big deal to edit them if that's what everyone wants.

makes perfect sense.
are the new ones (or these when used in the new forum) saved/ created as a gif WITH transparent background? or did you just match the color and created a background for your gif?
i will busy over the next week and half getting ready for opening day but i can help with graphics if needed buddy.
UGH! i need to get photoshop reinstalled on my new computers first too... shoot.

i don't remember how i did it but when i took these and put it into the test board, it just didn't look right. i probably did the gif with a background and then the non-animated one with a background too.

i have photoshop elements 6 (which is SOOOO different than the photosop 4 i have used for years) so i can help soon if you direct me.
if you recreate new gifs ensure that all images used have the background set to transparent and saved as .gif and it should fit prefectly into your new pages.

the problem with setting the static image to a gif is that it loses quality so i do it as a jpg which if i don't set a background, it stays white by default. i'll have to re-edit the image tonite and see what i can come up with. shouldn't be too hard at all.
edit: ok, i updated the test board to have the updated icons. whatcha think?

yeah, i think they are a tad bigger but not by much.
