why dont they make these?
streets of rage, final fight, contra, golden axe, turtles in time, captain commando etc all have a fond place in my heart but why dont they make these kinda games anymore?

i could imagine either 3d games like devil may cry being 2 player coop or they could keep the 2d ness but make it look awesome and 3d like the new streetfighter game.
i think people would love these games

i've seen quite a few games with co-op but they're local and they're not fighters. super stardust hd has local co-op. the simpsons game has local co-op. resistance, gh, rb...

though i can't say about any fighters because i don't actually own any.

i wonder if tekken dr has local co-op.

the last one i played was fighting force on the ps1 and that didnt have the same charm.
oh yeah there are the lego star wars games, how could i forget?

what they need besides co-op fighters are more online co-op games in general. i have no one to play the co-op modes with me so it kinda sucks.

dont play online much so i dont really know

i wonder if sc3 will have co-op. i haven't really been following it that closely.
