Who would it be?

Just to slightly start it off since there's quite a few people I'd like to meet, I'll Start with Jonathan Larson, the creator of RENT who died the night before it opened off-broadway.

Benn Jordan (a.k.a. the Flashbulb) I love his music, and he seems like a pretty cool guy.

Henri de Toulouse Le Trec. Though he might make me drink absinthe... >.>;;

He just seems like he'd be great fun to hang around for a little while and I'd love to see him create his art in person. Watch him sketch and all that... *art nerd*

i guess i would want to visit with my grandfather again honestly. he died while i was in college and is one of my favorite people ever. :china

i also had a lot of trouble coming up with anyone. i thought michelangelo might be fun to meet (or at least watch from a distance, lol) because what i have learned about him, his attitude cracks me up. like when popes would ask him to do projects for him he would just flat out refuse to do it and it really ticked them off. and i was told when painting the last judgement in the sistine chapel (which i had the pleasure of visiting) he painted the people nude out of spite because the pope commissioned him to paint and he didn't want to because he was a sculptor, which they later got another painter to put some drapes over them. i read a book about him (ok, well most of a book, lol) and it's really interesting if you're into art or history. i personally never liked history that much, but i went through a phase of reading about european artists since that's where a lot of my favorite art is from.

i guess i really don't have famous people i want to meet really.

many of the early (famous) european artists and and scientists were quite rebelious.
michelangelo is my favorite sculptor by far. at least in marble. he was brilliant and once i tried stone carving my respect for him went up by 99%

Keith Haring, I'd like to meet too. He's one of my favorite artists but he died young.

i suppose you're referring to my screen name? if so it's sonja son. it used to be separated for the longest time, but over time became one melded word. in fact, it still is seperate on my aim screen name. it's just a nickname i had from middle school, i guess i didn't really realize a lot of people would think it was jason at first, but i dunno, i still like it, and i'm not about to change it now. i've been using it for the better part of 10 years probably.

haha, yeah, that was funny. and i suppose that we're saying that if we could go back to a time when they were alive and talk to them. i don't want to talk to corpses or zombies.

i never met one of my grandfathers. i heard he was a really great guy. well, he died when i was a year old. so i mean, i met him, but i don't remember him at all.

well, a zombie isn't really dead or alive, so... and from what i've seen (you know in the movies, lol) zombies aren't all that friendly. they should make a movie about friendly zombies.
