no, it was never specified. people just assumed, and i always thought she was a girl, too. of course i also thought havana should be a girl, but he's not.

for the longest time lalala never had a gender since it was always said she was naked. i'm still not sure how reliable this is sine it actually changes the genders of other cousins too but it's a start.

nai-nai's male description was in the game, too. it's in the cousin leaderboards.

yeah, i would think it's a mistake because in the item collection it's a girl, in the cousin leaderboards it's a boy. i don't know. that's why it didn't make sense, so i guess call nai-nai whatever you want.
