How did you like WLK?

I still think WLK is my favorite in the series. There was just so much to it. It introduced a lot of the new aspects of the game like the rainbow items and beating up the cousins in the meadow. There's just so much to love about it.

10. Truly the pinnacle of Katamari in every aspect. There is just no way it could get better than this!

There is a pretty good, yet funny story that manages to break the 4th wall. And of course, there are the movies of the King's past which is always good to get some background on the King.

The music is wonderful. Most of the songs are very relaxing, (Kuru Kuru Rock is the exception here) and fit Katamari wonderfully. There is a great variety in genres, and almost no complaints in this area.

Of course the best aspect of Katamari is the gameplay. There are almost no problems with the camera, and the Katamari moves smoothly. The only complaint here is that in some stages if you take a certain path it is hard to grow.

There is a wonderful variety of stages and missions. Every person has multiple missions which is great. Of course this game has many missions that are different than getting big, or that put a twist on it. Such as collecting as many objects as you can, building a snowman, lighting a campfire etc.

Some stages are used in only one stage, leaving you a great variety of maps, such as the sky level, snowman level, and underwater stage.

This also has the most replayability due to the 1,000,000 roses stage.


My only complaint with this game is that they could have used some eternals.

Yeah, I missed the eternals too. that was probably the only thing i didn't like about the game.

man, all of this talk is making me want to play it. can i just say the underwater level was torture, ugh. the goal levels were cute where you had to return to the person making a request... that is if i could find them when it was time, lol. i had some trouble with that for a few of the levels.
