I don't really understand how the time bit works, what do you have to do faster or slower to be higher on that particular table?
Oh and I also have trouble making S ranking for the catagory 'Metal' even after collecting the cranes, anchor e.t.c the stuff on the list in this forum anyway.
All I have left to do is one more entry on the 'Serious' list and 4 entries on the metal (no idea how I even got one on the latter list!) But I am pretty sure I have just been unlucky with the Serious list as like I say, i've done it 4 times already.

honestly, i never did figure out how that system works. i would say roll around at the royal monument a few times. that sometimes seems to help up your points.

Right, probably should have mentioned i've collected all 2434 items in the game and overall I have collected 463268 items, plus I have completed the royal monument stage (with having collecting EVERYTHING you can possibly see in the last part of the stage) at least 20 or 30 times, maybe more.
So I doubt that is a factor in any of those lists really.

yeah, i have no idea then. like i said, i never did understand how the point system worked. it was my least favorite system in all the games(the ranking board).
beyond playing the royal monument, i wouldn't even remotely know what level to tell you to play. sorry.

I know I need to play the royal monument stage, just I am not sure what to collect for the METAL catagorie, as the items listed don't seem to be doing it for me, wierd :S
Just wondering if anyone else had any good ideas or tips e.t.c
The question about the time catagorie really wasn't that important, I was just idolly(sp?) wondering about it really :)

i think it's all of your spare time after you complete a level for the required size added up.

perhaps the gorilla stage since you have to get energy, maybe there's lots of factories and stuff there.

Volcano island stage items don't count towards the S rank scoreboard though.

That's ok, you have helped me a bit at least with the time thing, I understand that now at least :)
Doea anyone else have any light to shed upon me wisdom wise? I'll keep trying though.

Wierd!
I tryed something different, picking up all the smallest items possible and therefor picking up alot more items over all instead of just going for the items I know will level me up faster. So without even trying (past the new previously mentioned startegy of course) I am beating the arse out of all of my previous scores on nearly all tables, including Metal :D
That is my advice for anyone else who is also stcuk on any S rank table :smirk
