I'm starting a collaboration with WhiteOutKills, an IRL friend and a not-so-frequent user on this board. I'm doing a 3-D render and she's going to see what she can do with adding 2-D characters in it.

It's supposed to be a dirt pile, but I didn't want to make it a color. But either way is good!

is it a baby coffin?
a typical distance for the hole to be from the stone is 1 foot. then the pile would be larger than the coffins length.
(not being a smartass, just explaining what i see added with what i think) i do that for a living... critique and advice artists.
i can say of all the images you have posted this is my favorite. not only is it technically better, it is thought provoking and has a lot of feeling and depth to it.
it seems to tell a story that we will never know... we are spectators to some sad mystery... again, good drawing!
