There's no reason to be an ass. Got nothing useful to say, don't post. Plain and simple.

what is wrong with your psp?
Queen of the Cosmos - February 5, 2008 03:40 PM (GMT)
Have you tried to repair the PSP or send it somewhere to be repaired?
high and mighty King - February 6, 2008 02:54 PM (GMT)
Well I don't know it kinda just broke but it can still play music(it fell on the ground).

the poor psp really can not handle shock well. it bothers me that people believe that it is "the best portable platform"
sorry yours broke buddy.
what are your options then?
leave it? send it for repair (which might cost more than...), buy a used one?
* what it sounds like is that your psp can read the memory unit fine, but it will not play a game umd? is this correct?

in terms of what it can do, it is the best portable platform but it does lack games...there are some good ones but it's a combination of what it can do that makes it worthwhile.

agreed. it is a beautiful machine.
i didnt want any finger prints on mine for so long.
i do not regret buying it!
but gaming on it was hard (other than lumines) for me. like the gtas (the only reason i bought it) are just a little hard to play well.
it doesnt feel very portable. length and screen scratch fears. i have not touched one of the slims yet though.
i liked my ds because the games i got it on it were so perfect on it (the marios, the princess, the castlevanias, etc.) it fit in my pants pocket and the screen was always safe!

i agree about gta, i hated gta on the psp, that's part of the reason i thought i didn't like it. but i played it on the ps2 (not for very long mind you) and it wasn't nearly as bad, the controls are so much better. i plan to play it again eventually... this sounds familiar.

LOVED gtas on ps2! the camera and aiming on the psp just took me out of the fun.

some games, like bleach, locoroco, crush, lumines 1 and 2...worked well on the psp.
gta was never gonna work well on the psp, that's why i waited for those versions to be ported to the ps2.

true.
for me the games that were designed well for the psp were not my kind of games (other than lumines).
