ive actually pondered this since the dawn of katamari...

how is it that things stick to the katamari?!

my theory is..

the katamari is actually a planet all on its own with its own gravitational pull. Obviously strong enough to keep things stuck to it =p

whats your theory?

also, if theres all ready a topic like this, im sorry haha =)

What's worse, the ball absorbs things into it. It doesn't just stick -- it consumes!

i think that's just a processor problem. if the game had to render every item, the loading and lag would be enormous i would think. if you look at a majority of the official art, i'm fairly certain you only see items and you never see parts of the actual katamari though lately it could have changed.

The answer is:

Because the King of All Cosmos made it so.

BTW: Gary Larson (Far Side) has a katamari in one comic: "Suddenly, through forces not yet fully understood, Darren Belsky's apartment became the center of a new black hole."
