i keep everything on. on any site i keep them all on.

i've got em off. always have. save's loading time on dial up and makes the topics smaller. :)

no, i got rid of dial up a over a year ago but the board is almos three years old now (:eek) and i never bothered to go back and turn them on. i kinda don't like look at all that stuff. every forum i got to, i shut it off if i can. av's and sig's draw attention away, lol

On. It helps me tell people apart when they have similar user names, or on forums that have user names in small, hard-to-read fonts. Not to mention that I don't really feel any loading difference. Most loading time issues, at least for me, have to do with people posting images and videos in their posts and hardly anything to do with their avatars and signatures.

That and sometimes people's avatars and signatures are interesting and cool. Sometimes. Mine has a banner for a comic in need of updates and a mygamercard.net thingie.

actually the only problem i have at home (dial up) are the people that use huge gif files as their sig or avatar.
i know my current av is a gif, but it is not hhuuuuggggeee.
like that one guy with the mario/katamari gif in his sig, that thing never loads at home!

i dont mind either way, but do like that you limit the width of banners and sigs and stuff.

I currently have size limits in terms of pixels and I think I can limit kb size in the upgrade, I gotta look into it.
