I do, I love the new types of levels and my favorite cousin to play with was introduced in this game.( :ryu ) Anyone else think so?
waxc3 - January 14, 2008 11:52 AM (GMT)
nope. second best for me.
some of my fav songs though.
Tinyosi - January 14, 2008 08:17 PM (GMT)
Let me guess, your favorite is We Love Katamari.

Second best. We Love is still my favorite.

yea. more bang there for me. greater variety of fun levels.
if had BK dlc i might think differently.

I think I'd think differently if I could roll Co-Op on all levels instead of just three. I haven't tried rolling Online yet, though, nor do I have DLC, but I don't think the DLC will change my mind a lot. Rolling online might, though, but I think online rolling is just Vs. mode in Single Player stages... Again, I haven't the slightest.
Also, I haven't played Me & My Katamari, so my opinion would be incomplete.
We Love Katamari is the most fun in my opinion, of the three I've played, though. I wish they had taken the 1,000,000 Roses music out of BK, though. I think everyone's heard it enough- even if they only heard it before they went to sleep and when they woke up to remove rubber bands from their PS2 controllers.
I would've rather heard some sort of King of All Cosmos theme music while rolling Uranus.
... I think I've gone entirely off track here.

WLK definately was a better value and had more variety in the level design. Still, I've probably had more fun with BK because of the online aspects, both in the multiplayer battles and the world-wide rankings. The point system for scoring levels and personal top tens in the cosmos also are a big help in letting you know how well you're doing in a given stage. Back in KD and WLK, I didn't have this site, so I had no clue if I stunk or not. Sure, it was mainly just about rolling, but I always kind of wondered how good I really was. BK lets you know instantly.
I also don't have the same soft spot for WLK that other people do because the unique levels that most had a lot of fun with were usually the ones that drove me nuts.
I wouldn't come out and say BK is hands down the best of the series, no questions, but I wouldn't say that about WLK either. They both have strengths and weaknesses.

offline only (me) and no dlc (me) i COULD say wlk is better (for me).
bk was fun, but lacked variety.
wlk had some annoying levels (for me) like cowbear, bugs, flowers, clean the room... but enough ones that i loved that i prefer that game.

if the DLC came with the came outright, this might have made tops for me but WLK is still better than the core game of BK.

as far as content and quirkiness go, wlk takes the cake. on the other hand, this is the only one i have completed and put so many hours into. that's partly because i never played katamari until last spring i think it was.

BK is the only katamari game I own, so yeah, its my favorite.
