as far as that actually happening to me, i tried to enter one of slo_bro's rooms one time and i couldn't enter, but he said he was having connection issues. but that was a month ago, i haven't been on xbl in over a week.

we'll have to try later. it could be the xbox live issues in general that seem to be plaguing everyone...

so i got one match to work finally anf of course get to play against the jerkiest guy around. nothing but perpetual dashing into me. it wasn't even remotely fun. it was lagging too so i was just screw it.

I'm guessing LIVE still isn't up to where it should be. I played single player quite a bit last night and couldn't access the leaderboards at all. A shame, since that is the only way it uploads your scores.

One thing I've noticed is that occasionally, the available planet list won't refresh all the way, and planets that don't exist will stay there for long periods of time. This isn't true for every planet you can't enter, but I know it does happen. There was a time I saw two planets in the list hosted by the exact same gamertag, one that you couldn't enter because the game couldn't clear it for some reason, and the other that he was currently hosting. Yet another piece of bizarre, unexplained network code in BK. Live bears a majority of the blame to be sure, but the gaps in BK's multiplayer and leaderboard coding can't be ignored either. I mean, Live may be running terribly, but that should be no excuse for a basic leaderboard to be completely non-functional. I'll buy that it's the reason multiplayer doesn't work, but the leaderboards? C'mon...

I agree -- I should be able to cancel by hitting the B button any time, not have to drop out to the dashboard and reload because it gets stuck waiting forever.

I don't think they designed the online part of the game in the better manner.

but i'm gonna give it a go tonite, likely around 10pm est, if anyone wants to play.
