I'm stuck at 19.4, yet I see scores of 19.6 and 19.7 showing up, I really dont see items left for that, I know you have to rush the first 10cm and get it in about 30seconds or less which I average, but what am I missing that you use to get beyond it? I know only half the time the mug type thing appears and allows for that size, but I still cant even get to 19.6 :/

I was going to mention the mug :) but you're already on top of that.

I don't really know what to recommend. Make sure you get the tape from on top of the chair before you're too big to fit. Try to get the mouse under a piece of furniture, again before you're too big to fit. Late in the stage, little stuff on the table gives a nice little boost.

That's all I can remember; I think 19cm3mm and 19cm4mm were usually what I got when I went for diameter after I knew the stage well; 19cm5mm was fairly common but I got 19cm6mm well under 10% of the time. I don't have a clue how people get 19cm7mm.

About the mug, I know I never got a 19cm6mm without the mug. Are there ever two mugs?

19cm7mm is very tough to get. I wrote down a strat for someone else a couple days ago. Here it is:

I start out just like I would going for speed, but slow down to get most of the cookies and so on. After the orange slices, I should reach 10cm. Usually the time is anywhere between 25 and 35 seconds. I grab the erasers and the nearby carmels. I head over and get the batteries near the wall, and the tape, the plugs and also the plug that's in the corner. I get the boxes near the plug in the corner. I then get the nail clippers and go back towards the orange peel. Usually there's a mouse that won't run away I can get and then I get the mouse under the dresser. I grab the nail clippers that are nearby, and any lipsticks I missed. I then go through the chair for the other tape. I grab some of the small candies that I missed and any cookies and ink bottles that are left. I also grab the cell phones. I grab some of the nearby small stuff until I'm at 15cm2 or so and I go onto the table and clear off as much as I can(books, oranges and so on). I drop off and grab the weird round-ish thingy that was near the plugs. I then go for the eggplant and orange peels in the opposite corner, get the two eggplants on the chair, then the ones on the cushions and then the two hanging from the sword. I also get the cheese slice behind the eggplants on the sword. After that, I go back on the table to get the blue cup and then hope I have enough time to spin dash everywhere to get mice and little stuff.

19cm7mm requires you get all the mice and largish-small stuff(if you know what I mean) and then get lucky enough to pick up enough small things throughout the run to push you over 19cm6mm. It's really hard. I must have gotten 19cm6mm over 10 times before I got 19cm7mm.

All the mice?!

Heh, I don't think I'll ever manage just that part. If I get one of the running mice I am lucky.

Yeah, the mice are frustrating. It's a rare run where I end up getting them all.

You can just knock the mice over, but in the case of Make A Star 1, you want to zip around collecting all of the bigger items.

One of my strategies (and I can't believe I'm telling my 'beginner rookie-strategies' to KD experts) is when I'm about 13cm4mm, I roll up onto the table and roll into the basket of fruit, and I usually end up at around 17cm3mm after that. It's a pretty good way to increase your size at the end of the level. :thumbsup :foomin
