Granted, they own the rights, and granted, I didn't make some of them, Prince's Bride made most and I made some(the bk cousins)...but come on. They actually "stole" from a fansite. :lol

For the e-cards, some of the animations for the cousins are different from vix's website like: Fujio, Ichigo, and Lalala. Plus some animations of the new cousins :D

You definitely deserve credit. They should have asked if you'd like a link-back. It's the kind thing to do - and smart, since it energizes the community that is giving them money. I'm reminded of how Paramount shut-down the far better Star Trek fan site that was out there, though, once they wanted to make their own site. Namco here is actually being a lot nicer than the norm for corporations (although, the real test will be what they do if they make a forum area on their site). Gotta remember, though; no matter how happy and wonderful their games are, in the offices, they are just like your bosses at work (if you work in a corporation). Logos change, the people don't.

they're all the same. the only difference is that kyun's hands have more definition, otherwise they're all the same.

i can not see the namco site from school but i will check from home. they can not appropriate your images and use them on a commercial site without permission EVEN if they own the rights to the character it was based on.
that is illegal.
if i paint a mickey mouse, disney can not have my painting, though they invented him...

way back when WLK was coming out, the Japanese site made the animated cousins and then mini ones we have as smilies but they were boring and ugly one color cousins. so PB edited them to make them look more like the cousins and then when she disappeared, I picked up the rest and made them myself from scratch.

there's a member on the board that is part of the team that designed the katamari site so i sent an e-mail to that member. i'm not exactly looking for credit, though it would be nice. maybe posting our link on their site somewhere.

especially since we'll be upgrading soon and the site is gonna get a total overhual with tons of new stuff!

Man it's just ironic that, that happened. But maybe if they credit this site, it will flood (Not Really) with new members and people who want in game help.

not all of them. the bk cousins i made from scratch. all the other cousins came from the JPN WLK site but they were ugly and boring(not sure if you were around when I had them up as our smilies). So PB edited them.

But the BK ones I had to make myself.

the same battles were fought in the music industry less than 20 years ago with sampling...
