Title: scrubs season seven

vix - October 23, 2007 03:16 AM (GMT)
so scrubs premieres this week, on thursday. it's gonna be their last season apparently. so besides me and stu, anyone else watch it?

s0njas0n - October 23, 2007 04:12 AM (GMT)
i've seen the occasional episode, but i haven't really been a faithful watcher.

G4G Scotty - October 25, 2007 04:20 AM (GMT)
Great show, I am going to have to buy the box sets to catch up on old episodes!

vix - October 25, 2007 06:08 AM (GMT)
I've got all of the ones that are out so far. I read some spoilers about this season that made me happy:

*laverne will be back but not as laverne but as shirley, a nurse who looks like lavern but only jd notices that. bill lawrence had thought last season was gonna be it's last season on air so he did laverne's death as a story arc but then they got renewed for one more season so he's gonna bring her back in another form*

As the Primary Lab Technician, Franklyn is a hero to all. He gets results back in a timely manner, and his efforts contribute to saving many, many people, including a cheerleader. He hopes to someday travel back to Feudal Japan to visit his ancestors. As of Fall 2006, many around Sacred Heart have been abuzz about Franklin's striking resemblance to that of a character from a popular super-hero drama.

vix - December 10, 2007 05:56 PM (GMT)
That's an awesome bio for Franklin.

I sorta missed last weeks episode with the janitor's girlfriend cause i was watching this crappy movie at the same time. :frusty

I'll have to check out that link.

I tried to watch it on NBC's site but it kept starting and stopping so i said screw it.

marbig - December 12, 2007 06:26 PM (GMT)

I watched tonite's ep and it feels like there's gonna be an old romance brewing for the show's ending...

discostu - April 11, 2008 04:00 PM (GMT)
i bloody well hope not, seeing them together at the end was sickening.
ive had enough of that already. would be far funnier of JD and turk ended up gay or something else really shocking like dr molly coming back :D

vix - April 11, 2008 04:06 PM (GMT)
yeah, but that's not gonna happen. i think jd and elliott are gonna end up together cause i think that's what most fans want to see. though the turk and jd thing would be funny but then that ruins izzy and carla.

discostu - April 20, 2008 01:03 AM (GMT)
seen the latest one vix? very good episode
turks testicle tho, that came outta nowhere

vix - April 20, 2008 02:02 AM (GMT)
yeah, that was really random. the hugging dr cox bit was funny.

vix - May 7, 2008 04:46 PM (GMT)
according to the promo's for this week's ep, it's the last one in the series and yet i heard rumors that ABC is picking it up for next season...

discostu - May 8, 2008 05:16 PM (GMT)
your post made me think it was available today :(

i think theres 2 left

vix - May 8, 2008 05:22 PM (GMT)
not according to the commercials. they're saying scrubs is gonna end in a "fantasy" that dr. cox tells his kids but then abc is picking it up next season. it's on tonite.

:(

discostu - May 8, 2008 06:06 PM (GMT)
its 12 eps in this series isnt it?

vix - May 8, 2008 06:26 PM (GMT)
not sure, but it looks like the writers strike somewhat screwed up scrubs supposedly final season. http://www.nbc.com/Scrubs/

discostu - May 9, 2008 12:45 PM (GMT)
well that was all fudged up wasnt it?
damn the stuupid writers strikes :(
theyve ruined my favourite show

vix - May 9, 2008 04:03 PM (GMT)
omg, i know. for that to be a supposed "series finale" that was bad. mostly because it was completely out of context. err, out of order. kelso should not have still been chief. it looks like that was supposed to air a while back but didn't cause keith was still in it and once they broke up he disappeared(yay) so this definitely had to happen a while ago.

man, now i really hope abc picks up the show so they can at least bring it closure. i'd be happy with an hour ep or two hour movie to bring it closure. that was awful.

IGN TV Exclusive: Scrubs Production in High Gear
Bill Lawrence clears up the status of the show.

May 8, 2008 - Christa Miller stars in A&E's The Andromeda Strain as a heroic and no-nonsense scientist tasked with stopping a deadly biological agent. She also plays Jordan on the comedy Scrubs, and happens to be married to Scrubs producer Bill Lawrence, who joined her on the red carpet for Andromeda Strain. Just after Miller finished talking about her make-out scene with Benjamin Bratt, Lawrence wandered over and chastised Miller for not talking about Scrubs. "You're only supposed to talk about our show to the press!" he said.

Taking the opportunity, we wanted to clear up a mystery. As many Scrubs fans know, the series was cancelled by NBC, but has continued production of new episodes that are – allegedly – going to air on ABC. However, there has been no official statement by the ABC network or ABC Studios (who produces the show) about where the new episodes will actually air. I pointed out that the hospital where Scrubs films sure seems busy for a show that is officially cancelled.

"We're just doing it for fun," Lawrence joked. "Were I smart in the way that networks and the legal stuff works I would imagine that you're not allowed to mention anything about the future of the show until it's done airing on NBC. And the last episode airs tomorrow night."

The move from NBC to ABC happened because Scrubs was unable to finish up what would have been its final season due to the writers' strike. When asked about the prospect of an actors' strike, Lawrence said "Oh, man. That would be a nightmare. I can't personalize it because there's bigger issues at play, but to have fought so hard to keep our show going and get to finish it if we're lucky enough to – and if that were to happen it would be such a bummer."

When asked what he'll do should a new strike come to pass, Lawrence said, "This ends with me paying the actors out of my pocket to make the show for my family and friends. We'll do a stage play in my yard. I'm crossing my fingers that cooler heads prevail on both sides and they find a good agreement there."

discostu - May 9, 2008 06:22 PM (GMT)
i dont think an hour or 2 is enough id like to see at least another 10 or so episodes so that the story isnt rushed

vix - May 9, 2008 06:33 PM (GMT)
i would too but if that wasn't possible i would be happy with a movie. let's hope it gets picked up by abc.
