This could be a good place to exchange gamertags with other members for easy hook-ups for the multiplayer aspect of the game. well, you can get a free silver membership, you just can't play online and stuff, but you can still add friends, download demos and games, and show off your achievements. gold let's you message and play other people online.

generally, it's $50/yr., $20/3 months, $8/1 month

you can buy the prepaid cards at a retail store. but I know amazon.com is selling 1 year for $40 right now, so are some club stores if you belong to any of them... sam's club, costco, bj's, etc.

EDIT: btw, each xbox is supposed to come with 1 month of gold membership for free...

well, since I bought a 360 just for BK, I could only afford a used one heh
