I watched it tonite. It was somewhat boring in terms of ironing out some of the story but it definitely has potential.

yea. has potential x 100!
but yea a little boring.
who the heck was in the bar in the mirror? i was a lil confused.
the new people are cool so far, and it is good to learn what became of some past characters.

one good thing this episode did was ask more questions than answer. that is great. i wont mention any more here other than:
* who was in the hoodie sweatshirt? whats up with peter? when will the head cheerleader get a smack!!!*

*the reflection in the mirror ws a burnt and disfigured peter that nathan was hallucinating. and apparently the hooded sweatshirt guy was an assassin sent from the company to take out the members that broke their orders and didn't let the bomb go off or something to that effect.*

okay, so the hoodie guy was not one of the original 9 members then. he was just some assassin. cool. i was thinking he looked/moved a lil young.*

*hiro's father was surprised that that person was sent so i'm guessing it was an assassin and lackey of the evil company*

and about: *i can't believe the huge hero is twerp like that and that hiro screwed up history. i can honestly say i didn't see that coming, that the samurai is a fake, so to speak. though i kinda thought hiro was gonna screw something up and i have some theories about the hero(takeshi is his name? i forget), if you want to hear them...*

and i watched most of dancing with the stars but stopped at 9 to watch this.

I have to say that I watched the Heroes season 2 opener as well but since I didn't watch the first season it didnt make to much sense. I of course I know why. :wonder I just wanted to see what the buzz was all about. Dont know if I will watch any more.

Last season I didnt even watch one show, but that is because, I think there was something better on Fox - I dont remember what but IT wasnt dancing with the stars. :D

You definitely need to watch it all to understand what's going on. starting from the second season might not be the best thing to do. :lol

*i agree with you, vix about hiro. i knew he was going to screw something up (as he seems to do a lot) and i was thinking he was going to be the famous hero. it makes sense except for the whole falling in love and marrying the girl part, but who knows? maybe he decides to grow up in the 1600's and then one day return to current time (obviously there are other ways around this, just making a point). also, noah bennett's manager cracks me up, well not him per se, but the 2 of them together... and forgive me if i seem lost when relating to last season, i watched every episode, but was usually playing games online simultaneously... not a good show to do that with.*

maya definitely has an interesting power. not sure exactly what it is but it's definitely interesting.

*yea. the power to make eyes bleed and you die. it totally was like resident evil 5 but set in the resident evil 4 background.*

*if that's her power. she could generate sonic booms that kill people or radiation, etc. it's really board as to what she can possibly do for her power*

a little boring that his power is just flight so far... just like her real father!
or is he just another mutant person that recognizes that claire is different too?*

*i am not supporting incest, but we all know that peter does have all of these weird abilities, then he shows up with no memories... in pops this guy who has the same ability as her father, but then again peter could fly, too. i don't know, you know how i like to make up the most random things like my harry potter/bleach theories, lol.*

*peter can fly because he absords other people's powers. he can paint the future, heal himself, etc. so i dunno. should be interesting*

*yeah, i know... and he was near some of the other heroes he hadn't been in contact with before in the last episode such as niki, d.l., micah, and molly. he hadn't shown any of these abilities yet but possibly will in the future. i don't think i can take a whole amnesia arc with peter, this better be over with fast. they tend to be slow and boring.*

oh, i know. i was thinking the same thing about the arc you mentioned.

the amnesia thing can prevent him from doing all the things he has learned at least.
the ability remains but he does not know that.
otherwise we would have an overpowered character now.

yeah, because the way he got the powers under control was to remember how he felt around the person with the power, if i remember correctly.

but he is shooting them off by instinct too (the electric arcs in the trailer), which can make for good story telling.

need me a sylar episode soon. seems like he is sitting on a beach!

oh yeah, forgot about that. but i sitll hope they don't draw it out too much that he's "missing"

for some reason, every time hiro came on screen, i could't help but laugh and the scene with the cherry blossoms...bleach!! i was waiting for him to shout senbonzakura(?). :lol

*ooo, the Haitian is back....this makes it really interesting now and i totally called the bit with hiro playing the hero. lol*

and the upcoming sylar thing... he has amnesia too!? whatever!?

i love all the secret plans running around in the background. they make me want to cry black tears...

*i thought it was interesting to see more about alejandro and maya. this might be the first time i've seen a power quite like this, not only does he protect her from hurting people, he can reverse the effects. pretty cool, imo. i was glad to see the haitian back, but i think it's funny how they always refer to him as "the haitian", is there a reason he doesn't have a name? we know he can talk now... it's good to see peter is still able to use his powers, hopefully this is a sign of speedy recovery (i hope).*

i kinda thought last night was slow again as it was still somewhat establishing the store but overall it was good.

every time you say a show is slow, i like it :P I mean, there's not a lot of action, but i like the story part, too. i'm waiting for niki and micah to show up.

Oh, i thought the first season started out really slow too. once everyone got established, it was great. now they're just tying up loose ends from last season. i'm liking it so far.

I feel like I'm missing out on so much... I saw the teaser as for the second season on TV3, so it must be close. This month, with any luck.
