I've been trying to think of ways to, well for a lack of better words, katamari-ize the board.

So it's a concept done to death on various sites, I've come up with a katamari badge.

this is just a few of the examples that I made. i have about 16 different background options at the moment.

The large cousin is your favorite. The five smaller cousins are your sub-favorites.

I haven't fully decided on how the usernames will look yet though. It's also since I'm not sure if I'm even gonna use them to begin with.

I figured they could be used in place of the photo option and they would appear in your profile.

I've always wanted to do something like this but could never really figure out how to implement it into the board beyond the photos or sigs. Any suggestions?

i like the badges, but have no advice on how to implement them onto the board, wish i could be of more help.

So we user-people would fill out a form with our username, our favorite cousin, our next 5 favorites, and maybe our choice of favorite background, and the site would automatically generate a badge for us? :woot

I like it. I don't know how often people would actually see them if they're just in our profiles, but I like it, if you want to put that much work into it. Heh, you've seen the results of my attempts at computer graphics, so you don't want my help with the pictures themselves :S ... my latest attempt at a graphic for my sig at another site is

I like them as well. I especially think the little sub-favorite cousins are cute.

unfortunately, it wouldn't be automated. i'm not that technically adept to do that, lol. would be awesome if i could.

i would be making them all by hand so i would probably have to put some sort of limit on it, like users with 50 posts or more or something like that.

As usual I jump to conclusions :heh

Non-automated sounds like even more work ... but I like 'em.

i have lots of ideas for the board, i just lack the know how to do them. :)

what specifically do you want to learn vixers?

i'd love to make an automatic scoreboard where users submit their scores and they automatically appear on the scoreboard without me having to update. that' just the tip of my ideas though the one i would like to implement the most.

That doesn't actually sound too hard... To learn I mean, not just common know-how.

I like the idea of the badges, I would use one.
