A new piece by me, it took a bit of a while to tweak it but it came out well.
I got so many comic ideas, and I want to make a website for the comic itself. Unfortunately, I can't do HTML or design a webpage to save my life. Oh well, guess I'll put up all my content on Storm Artists.

not bad! :thumbsup

if you want it to appear he is riding it it needs to appear that he is touching it. it seems he is only touching the fire on his foot. if so let him sink into the flame in that spot a little. allow the flame to rise around his foot some.
the physics would seem off a little too because his leg is so straight and riding like that would be difficult. a bent leg and leaning forward of the torso would appear more like he is riding. standing that straight would make him fall backwards.
if you do start changing it you might thicken the right leg above the knee.

i love your use of shadow throughout the fabric. the arms look nice. curl the fingers a little more under the stick. the face is awesome. of course the background is really great!

keep up the hot (literally) drawings!

Heheh thanks for the input, I've been tweaking all my stuff lately and improving. I need it if I want my computer graphics professor to like my work (damn it's only one week and he already doesn't leave a good impression on me. But I'll give him a chance.)

i hope i can help in some way. i am no great artist, but as a teacher i SEE so much artwork that i know where the mistakes are and what is really working for people.

i can say you are doing better than i did at your age! keep practicing.
do some work that is just made up from your mind.
do some work where you try to copy an image you really like.
redo a previous image you did before, change it or imporve it some ways.
there are so many ways to grow in your style and ability.
:thumbsup
