I've been attempting to overhaul our graphics and such and this is what i came up with for new pips. pips are the little green princes under your name in a post.

that's the test board where i test out hacks and skin stuff before i do it here so ignore my ramblings. i only uploaded four of the icons but you get the general idea of what they would look like on our board.

I don't know if you noticed it or not, but the first rank doesn't have an icon and i believe the second one doesn't either. the first one with 0 posts is the "I registered, now what?" rank and the second rank is "Katamari Lurker." once you reach 3 posts, you get your first image but you're still a lurker. handy little tidbit. :)

i had to shrink them a bit, i made them too big but they still look pretty decent, i think. :)

Wow Vix, your pip graphic looks wicked. Is that moderator one different? I think it is, but I don't really take too much notice.

the moderator and the one i have are different as well. when i realized i screwed up and the regular pips were bigger than the mod and admin ones, i just made new mod and admin ones and then resized the rest of them down a bit. :)

I like that it adds a but of color in to the board.

that's why i can't wait to have multiple skins. :yes

Just a random idea, for people with 1500 posts or 1600 posts or 1800 posts or something, all 8 pips could be different colors :D

I could do that. it's an idea. it's just that only four or so people actually have over 1000 posts. there's about 500+ members with under 100 posts i think. :lol :lol
