Hi there all....been a while since I've been here, but I thought I'd rent the game again recently to try to beat some of my old scores and get closer to those at the top! Now, I'm wondering if anyone has any videos of there runs for ALAP3, 4 and 5. NOT SPEEDRUNS! I know there are plenty of these, but the runs for size. I've seen a lot of the youtube runs, THANKS SLOBRO!! So far, i've been able to knock substantial times off my runs, but i'd like to conquer my size records, so it would be greatly appreciated.

I hope no one thinks this is a cheap way to go without trying it myself, but I promise, I've done multiple attempts and a variety of methods on many of the levels, but just can't seem to get nearer the sizes Matthew69 and others have gotten.

honestly, all i've ever seen are speed runs. for a long time now, i've wanted to get a capture card to do some size runs but i can't find one i like. finding size runs is hard and they're few and far between. best i can offer at the moment is to see if the levels you're working on have walkthroughs in the database. i can do my best to help you out but i might not be too helpful. i have a video of a fairly high medium campfire that i recorded when i had a capture card.

Most of my size runs are on Google Video because they are too long for me to put on YouTube.

http://www.wewantkatamarivideos.com links to size videos for all the normal stages in Katamari Damacy and We Love Katamari. Just be aware that my best are not always close to the best out there. I don't have a clue how people reach 35cm7mm in ALAP1 or 30m08cm9mm in ALAP4.

By the way, Vix or anyone who might want to make a size video or any other video, don't let the fact that I have already made these videos stop you from making your own. Silent_Thunder has been proving that the vids on my site can be beaten, and even if your score ends up the same or worse than the score (size or time or whatever) of the video up now, your vid might be at least as helpful as mine. Also, if someone were to start a BK video site that I could link to on my page, that would be unspeakably awesome.

I don't have a way to make video's. my vcr is dead and i don't have a capture card and i don't have any other way to make vid's at the moment. i wish i did. i really want to make a video page for all the goals for all the games.

Thanks Vix and Slobro....actually your videos on youtube have helped me get some AWESOME sizes. I know going fast through the first parts of ALAP4 and ALAP5 don't translate to the highest sizes, but I've gotten 35cm7mm on ALAP1 and 1m15cm5mm on ALAP2 just by doing the speedrun first!

So, I'm working on the others and when I'm satisfied that I've gotten just about the highest I can get without getting frustrated, I'll post all of my new scores.

I know that if Vix added a streaming video walkthroughs section to this site or the 250free it would be amazing. My site includes a lot of weird videos, and it probably is pretty hard to navigate (find the video you want).

see, my plan is this:

i would love to make runs of all the levels with runs that show you how to reach the goals and then others on how to get records, etc.

i figured i could make the webpages and then use youtube for the majority of the videos and make awesome video pages that would totally make the board more legit in terms of info and such.

to boot, zeta also will allow members to post video's in topics without having to use the dohtml tags(which currently are dangerous to let all users have access to, that's why i'm the only one right now that can post video's in topics). this will let anyone post their videos as well so things will be even better.
