I am currently four items away from having 100% of the items in the game. One is a fan I missed the one and only time I was able to finish the end credits level, so I know how to get that one.

The other three items are in the "Katamari Damacy Stars" category. Specifically, the last three listed (right after the North Star). No matter how much time I spend rolling the Earth around in the "Roll Up The Sun" level, I can't seem to find any more stars. I presume this is because I'm missing something in the original Katamari Damacy save game I loaded up, but I can't figure out what would be missing.

On my original Katamari Damacy save game, I've completed every Make a Star level, every constellation level, the North Star level, and the Make the Moon level. I haven't really played the original Katamari Damacy to the extent that I've played WLK, so I don't have many meteors (only 2), though I do have two of the three eternals unlocked.

Does anyone have an idea what I might be missing? I'm so close, and I'd hate to have to give up at this point.

How odd. These are the three stars I have in those spots

All You Can Eat Star(it's green in color)
Miso Star(it's blue in color)
Personal Star(it's red in color)

If i had to take a guess and yes this is a guess, but my theory would be those three relate to the eternal levels in KD. Have you unlocked them and played through them at least once?

You know, vix, I don't think I have. I've unlocked two of them, but it occurs to me that after playing through one of them, I may have not saved the game. I wonder what constitutes "playing through" a level that doesn't actually end... I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the suggestion.

another guess would be enough to register stardust or a star. i think(it's been a while since i played through eternals) when you play then, you have the option at any time to leave the level. I think not matter what size you get, the king will make stardust or a random star out of it. I'm not positive though.

And now I have 100% of the items. Yay! Now I just need to get superclears on Underwater AFAP, Flowers AFAP, Cranes, Cousins, and Fireflies. I don't think I'm going for a million roses. I may have obsessive bursts, but my short attention span would never allow anything like that.

the problem with the roses is you really don't get anything for it which sucks.

I think so too, but according to GameFaqs you can get Rose Unlockables if you beat the rose level. Such as a New Loading screen, it isn't a New level or anything special though. I don't think it's worth the time either.

All that is is a tiny spinning rose icon. That alone is not worth rolling the million roses.

I know, that's the only think I don't like about WLK, you do all of that and that's all you get.

yeah, but then again, the king makes a comment about why would would waste all of your time rolling roses. i forget the exact quote though.

Do you mean when you press stop rolling for the day, when the King says "What do you you need a million roses for? I don't know, but this no way near enough!" I do know he says that, did you mean a different quote? :wonder

no, i think it's a quote after you get the million roses. i had a picture of it somewhere but i can't find it.

I tried this last night and gave up after 2,000. It got kinda repetitious! :odeon

I am currently using the thumbtack/rubber band trick but when I fell like it I can get about 10-20k in about a half-full hour.

The roses are worth it just to proove how hardcore a katamari player you are :D
