Apparently there was a vote, since there are 14(or 13, i forget) states that have Springfield towns in then, there a vote to see which one should now be the home of the simpsons.
Springfield, Vermont won.

Same here. I always loved how they were near a beach, ocean, bay, mountains, rivers, lakes...every possible land type was there. Penninsula's, islands, etc.

Darn, didnt get to vote have a springfield in Illinois. Although i have to agree they shouldnt have a state it was funnier that way.

definitely. i loved the whole mystery behind them not having a state because they have everything the entire country has in one state. fun times. :)
